Our billet backing plate was made from a 3D scan of the original part to ensure perfect fitment. And it retains the timing marks in the OEM position so you dont need to worry when timing your engine.

The original part is made out of sheet metal with 1mm thickness. On a cnc machine making such a thin part will be impossible and the part will not be as strong. Therefore we made this part from a billet 6061 T6 aluminum with a bit more thickness in the right areas to ensure it won't ever get bent or damaged.
